The synchronization engine is a .NET 2.0 application written in C#. It integrates
with the Microsoft IIS server at the IHttpHandler level, taking full advantage of
the ASP.NET infrastructure. Microsoft SQL Server 2000 is used as a storage for all
user data, as well as for internal structures related to synchronization. This web
interface is an ASP.NET 2.0 web application (a non-public administrative web

Contrary to most SyncML implementations around, Compelson SyncML Server is proud to provide
excellent support for national character sets (cyrillic, diacritic characters, etc.) Other
distinguished features include recurrent event support in the calendar. Practically it means that
you'll see e.g. birthdays in the calendar repeating every year - just as they were meant to be.
